Antique Style Furniture
Antique style furniture is growing ever more popular especially with the vast number of home makeover shows on television and everyone wanting something a little different. You can transform any ordinary room into something special with the odd piece of antique style furniture. Our French White range of furniture is designed with the French Louis style in mind, and is by far our best seller in this style of furniture. Mainly painted in a white or ivory finish this type furniture can lift a dull and lifeless room into a room that you would find in a top boutique style hotel in the centre of Paris.
For more traditional British antique style furniture, why not have a look at our amazing Oxfordshire range. Made from Oak and finished with antique bronze effect pull handles and dovetailed drawer boxes, this wonderful range would not look out of place in a country estate.
Our favourite antique style furniture range at Furniture Style is the Bordeaux; this is one elegant range of furniture. The tops are made from Elm and polished and the bases are made from pine and distressed by hand to give it that authentic French antique styling. Our favourite piece in the range is the Bordeaux console, this simple piece is nearly two metres wide and just short of a metre high. It has curved legs and a polished elm top which makes this table simply stylish without being over stated. As we all know some of the antique styles can be a little too much. Unfortunately there is one problem, due to the table looking so nice you'll probably not what to put anything on it!
Style Info: Antique style furniture changes with the ages as new things become old and time moves on. There are many periods in British history that have furniture styles associated to them from the Medieval and Elizabethan to Jacobean and Georgian and they all have variances in their style.
